If you own a previous generation Corsa that was built between 2004 and 2006, Combo van or Tigra built between 2004 and 2008, you will be hearing from Vauxhall shortly.
A recall of 355,000 vehicles is being carried out to replace the ABS control unit and cover assembly for the old Corsa and its derivatives, after it was revealed that there could be a risk of fire.
Things get even more embarrassing for Vauxhall, as the risk is a result of modifications carried out to the engine wiring harness following a previous recall of the same models.
The risk is very low but with numbers so high, Vauxhall ask that customers wait until they get a recall letter before contacting a dealership.
It should also be highlighted that the latest Corsa model is unaffected.
