Mercedes E-Class Latest Renderings

Brand spanking new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is due to go on sale in mid-2010, but as per normal the frenzy of spy pics has been feeding upon itself for months yet. Of course WCF has been at thecutting edge of this frenzy, and with that same spirit we bring you these renderings of what the E-Class will probably look like when it hits the market.

Merc has demonstrated with their current crop of cars that they are ready for a design change. Sharper lines, more kink around the edges have signaled a harder approach to Merc, a sign that the world’s oldest luxury car maker is going aggressively at the younger market. Even their ad campaigns are a showcase of youth. Why C-Class is now sold as “your car, not your dad’s” for example.

E-Class is expected to debut a few new technologies for its segment, while existing ones including Bluetech and Diesotto, are to make an even bigger presence. Engines worn on the two body styles saloon and estate as proper, will be petrol-based, diesel-bound, hybrid-origin and a surprise fuel mix. The AMG performance version of the E-Class will for the first time, surpass 400kW/ 536 bhp.

Mazda vehicles : the motor industry

Mazda vehicles are the most reliable in the motor industry according to one of the world’s largest ever studies into car reliability, carried out by leading personal warranty specialists - Warranty Direct.Almost 92 per cent of the Mazda cars surveyed by Warranty Direct, aged between three and nine years old, suffered no mechanical failure of any type – outperforming all other brands. The study looked at the reliability of more than 450,000 vehicles, from 33 manufacturers, across the UK and USA. The resulting ‘Reliability League Table’ lists the number of failures reported for every 100 vehicles covered by its warranty policies. Mazda was rated number one with a failure rate of just 8.04% of all vehicles aged between three and nine years old.

“Mazda has been justifiably proud of both the build-quality and long-term reliability of its vehicles for many years,” commented David McGonigle, Managing Director, Mazda Motor Ireland. “This new survey clearly endorses our own views and confirms that Mazda reliability is not just very good – it’s the very best. To beat such global quality icon brands as Toyota, Honda, Porsche, BMW and Audi is a fine achievement.”

Mazda Motor Ireland has seen record sales in the past six months, with units sold in January 2007 topping over 1260 for the first time ever. Mazda now holds 2.7% of the passenger car market in Ireland. The record breaking sales for Mazda Motor Ireland come on the back of significant changes that the company has undertaken since successfully taking back distribution of the “Zoom-Zoom” brand in Ireland.
